Okay, I love Javascript. It is hands down my favorite language (C# is a near second). In fact, it was the first language I ever learned, even before having a good handle on html markup in the mid-90s. I used it server-side with Livewire on Netscape server. I transitioned to (now Cassic) ASP, and picked up vbscript (COM enumerations via JScript were so evil). When .Net first came out, i hacked my way through using the JScript .net command-line compiler, and early ASP.Net (ASP+), after translating a litteral ton of code from VB.Net and C# samples, I caved and learned C#. Allong the way, I picked up on several SQL Dialects, VB6, some perl and others; but I always get back to Javascript. More...

Okay, this snuck by me a couple weeks ago, but the Silverlight Dynamic Languages SDK 0.3.0 was pushed out on August 30th, 2008. As you can see from my setup list so far, there's a lot to do. I started off around 9am, and it's now 3:30 in the afternoon, and I am just finishing off my Visual Studio 2008 install. More...

I know I'm not the first person to note Meebo, and I know a lot of people are aware of Prism (formerly WebRunner) from Mozilla. The combination just happens to work very well, if only there were an option to group the window notifications to a single system tray icon. As having the main meebo window minimized, with the list popped out, and discussions popped out, leads to a few entrys in the taskbar. More...

Through much pain and heartache, it can be said that modern PC Gaming is faulty... Mainly through complex DRM systems that make the entire experience difficult to say the least. From having to deal with multiple DRM systems that may conflict with eachother, let alone any CD/DVD burning software on your computer. Let alone the frustration that comes from dealing with foreign telephone support, and the thick accents that come with it. More...
